If the measurement device has<br />
not been detected correctly<br />
you need to reinstall the driver<br />
manually.<br />
Windows hardware assistant: Insert the<br />
basICColor program CD into the CD-ROM<br />
drive of you computer and start the automatic<br />
hardware detection. The driver should<br />
be found automatically.<br />
It is possible that the Windows operating system may<br />
not recognize the measurement sensor driver after a<br />
restart. In this case the hardware manager will flag the<br />
driver with an exclamation mark or question mark. The<br />
“hardware assistant “ window will pop up to assist you<br />
with manual installation of the sensor driver. Follow<br />
the instructions for manual installation. The basICColor<br />
<strong>display</strong> 4.1 CD-ROM includes a folder with all the sensor<br />
drivers for the Windows® operating system.<br />
5) To start basICColor <strong>display</strong> 4.1, double click the program<br />
icon.<br />
