These instructions assume familiarity with the basic opera-<br />
tion of the Mac OS X and/or Windows 2000 or XP operating<br />
systems.<br />

This document describes the application of basICColor<br />
<strong>display</strong> for both Mac OS X and Windows. Any differences in<br />
operation or special instructions that apply to either system<br />
will be indicated.<br />
Before beginning the installation process, please make sure<br />
that your measurement device is not connected to the com-<br />
puter. Connect it after the software has been successfully<br />
installed.
