Local Area Plan<br />
Required infrastructure to be delivered in tandem with<br />
development:<br />
Open Space<br />
l Multi-Games Use Area in <strong>Oldtown</strong> shall be developed as<br />
required by <strong>Fingal</strong> Parks Department.<br />
l Pedestrian/cyclist connections to Broadmeadow Linear<br />
Park and Swords Regional Park shall be provided.<br />
Transportation Network<br />
Western Distributor Link Road:<br />
l Northern extension of road through lands at <strong>Oldtown</strong> to<br />
the edge of the Broadmeadow Linear Park shall be provided<br />
(with provision in design for future extension into the Lissenhall<br />
development lands and for connection to the Swords Western<br />
Ring Road).<br />
Internal road network:<br />
lLocal access roads and pedestrian/cyclist routes as per<br />
plan layout shall be provided.<br />
A review of the traffic modelling and analysis undertaken as part of<br />
the Transport Network Study by Roughan O’Donovan shall be<br />
undertaken by the Planning Authority at the end of each phase of<br />
development. This review shall be used to assist in assessing<br />
individual TIA’s .<br />
A Transport Impact Assessment (TIA) shall be submitted with each<br />
application for development, unless otherwise agreed with the<br />
planning authority. <strong>Fingal</strong> <strong>County</strong> <strong>Council</strong> Transportation<br />
Department shall be consulted prior to the submission of any TIA.
