If “tv” and “spectrum” are selected (the led over these keys are switched on), the monitor shows<br />

a simultaneous representation of measurements, spectrum and picture. If these two options are not<br />

necessary, is possible to cancel their represetantion pressing the corresponding keys.<br />

10.2.6 Picture representation<br />

The <strong>mediaMAX</strong> <strong>EVO</strong> meter is equipped with three differents representation modes to show the<br />

information on the screen: “tv”, “spectrum” and “meter”.<br />

There is a led over these buttons that inform the user which options are being currenntly used. At least<br />

one of them will be always switched on.<br />

Their functions could be also combined and based on the measurement type, the information shown<br />

will be different.<br />

Representation possibilities are the following:<br />

1.- “tv” key active. Activates and desactivates the TV monitor mode, showing the image of the selected<br />

signal. In case of digital carriers, this mode will represent the fi rst program of FTA (free to air)<br />

terrestrial multiplex and satellite transponders. If coded signal, the image will not be represented.<br />

Status bar is present for a short period of time; after it will be hidden. To makes it appear again, press<br />

“tv” key.<br />
