The <strong>Committee</strong> has c<strong>on</strong>tacted Mr. Zyuganov and the office of KPRF in the State Duma seeking<br />

comments regarding documents obtained by the <strong>Committee</strong> from the Government of Iraq. Mr.<br />

Zyuganov has not resp<strong>on</strong>ded to repeated communicati<strong>on</strong>s from the <strong>Committee</strong>. 37<br />

2. Vladimir Zhirinovsky and the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia<br />

According to Iraqi officials and Iraqi Ministry of Oil records, 73 milli<strong>on</strong> barrels were allocated in<br />

the name of Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the head of the Liberal Democratic Party of the Russian<br />

Federati<strong>on</strong> (“LDPR”) between Phase II and Phase XI. Of this allocated oil, over 62 milli<strong>on</strong><br />

barrels was lifted through a number of oil companies, including Sidanco, Nafta Moskva, Tyumen<br />

Oil Company (“TNK”), Machinoimport, and Lukoil Asia Pacific PTE Ltd (“Lukoil Asia<br />
