b. Represent attitudes or behaviors repugnant to contemporary local community standards.
c. Are obscene or degrade a race, gender, or creed.
d. Represent any group, gang organization, or philosophy, which advocates violence or disruption, or that, have
any history of violence or disrupting the objectives of school instructional programs.
Coaches and teachers may, with administrative approval, impose more stringent dress requirements to accommodate
the special needs of certain classes and/or sports.
The principal, staff, students, and parent/guardians at each school may establish reasonable dress and grooming
regulations for times when students are engaged in extracurricular or other special school activities.
Nothing in this policy restricts the principal and school site council from establishing specific dress standards to meet
individual school needs or specific circumstances.
