DISPERSING FOOD AND WATER<br />

Duties:<br />

Assess status of water and food supply<br />

<strong>Plan</strong> for and conduct the dispersing of water and food<br />

Training:<br />

1. Use of two-way radio<br />

2. Two-way radio protocol<br />

Equipment:<br />

1. Portable two-way radio(s)<br />

2. Job description clip board or binder<br />

3. Pens, pencils, stapler, paper clips<br />

Procedures:<br />

After evacuation from cafeteria, assemble on the access road (backside of kitchen). Take account of all employees<br />

and report status on Accountability Report form to Accountability Team located in the Command Center. The Team<br />

Leader will then review with the team their responsibilities of responding to the disaster. Team members will be<br />

assigned tasks to conduct those duties. Those tasks will include, but are not restricted to:<br />

1. A kitchen representative will be stationed in the Command Center and will be the communication link between<br />

the team in the field and the Operations Section Chief, Ron Hilton;<br />

2. An assessment of available food and water, which is to be reported to the team representative in the Command<br />

Center, who will inform the Operations Section Chief;<br />

3. The formation of a plan to ration and disperse food and water as needed, which is to be shared with the Operations<br />

Section Chief via the team’s representative in the Command Center;<br />

4. Proceed to the emergency container to get supplies to disperse water;<br />

5. Carry out the food and water dispersing plan;<br />

7. Keep Operations Section Chief apprised of the team’s status/needs via frequent update communications with team<br />

representative in the Command Center.<br />
