District programs and activities shall be free from discrimination, including harassment, with respect to ethnic group, religion, sex, gender, color, race, national origin and physical or mental
disability. The Board prohibits intimidation or harassment of any student by any employee, student or other person in the district. Staff shall be alert and immediately responsive to student
conduct that may interfere with another student's ability to participate in or benefit from school services, activities or privileges.

District employees are expected to carry out their responsibilities free from discriminatory statements or conduct. Teachers will cooperate with other certificated staff in enforcing general
school rules and helping students to understand the benefits of choosing behaviors that show respect for other people and property. Staff shall enforce disciplinary rules fairly and
consistently, without regard to race, creed, color or sex.
