There are Four <strong>Central</strong> Training Colleges<br />
(CTCs) located at Neemuch (MP),<br />
Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Nanded<br />
(Maharastra) and Guwalior (MP).<br />
These training institutions organize inservice,<br />
instructional and promotional<br />
courses for the Gazetted/Subordinate/<br />
Under Officers and Constables.<br />
There are Five Recruits Triaining Centres<br />
(RTCs) located at Neemuch(MP),<br />
Avadi(TamilNadu), Pallipuram(Kerala),<br />
Humhuma(Srinagar) and Rajgir(Bihar).<br />
These training centers conduct basic<br />
training to Constables(Recruits) of the<br />
<strong>Force</strong>. The capacity of each Recruits<br />
Training Centre is 1215. The courses of<br />
Counter Insurgency and Anti Terrorist<br />
operations are regularly conducted<br />
at CIAT school Silchar and Shivpuri<br />
on the pattern of Counter Insurgency<br />
and Jungle Warfare school of Army at<br />
Vairangte.<br />
The Pre-induction training is conducted<br />
