units also. Medical set-up of CPFs<br />
has been restructured on Composite<br />
Hospital pattern and six CPFs hospitals<br />
have been upgraded into 100 beds and<br />
32 into 50 beds hospitals and one 200<br />
beds Referral Hospital.<br />
All CRPF personnel and their dependent<br />
family members have now been entitled<br />
to have the medical treatment facilities<br />
from CGHS and where the facilities of<br />
CGHS hospital do not exist they can<br />
avail the medical facilities from any<br />
CRPF hospital located near their home<br />
town. For the cases for which proper<br />
facilities are not available or a long<br />
waiting list exists in Govt hospitals,<br />
CRPF has entered into a Memorandum<br />
of Agreement/Understanding with 114<br />
private multi-specialty hospitals across<br />
the country, for the treatment of CRPF<br />
personnel and their dependant family<br />
members on Credit basis.<br />
SPORTS<br />
CRPF is doing exceedingly well in sports<br />
also. Men and women of central Sports<br />
Teams of CRPF are achieving laurels<br />
and medals in various International<br />
Championships. The teams have<br />
excelled in various sports like, wrestling<br />
, Judo, Handball, Aquatic, weightlifting,<br />
karate, Wushu, Shooting, Taekwondo,<br />
Gymnastics, Aquatic. Our sports<br />
persons have won 2 Bronze Medals in<br />
Commonwealth Games-2010, they<br />
have also won 1 Silver and 1 Bronze<br />
Medal in Asian Games-2010, CRPF<br />
sports persons have performed well<br />
in 11th SAF Games winning 8 Gold,<br />
2 Silver, and 2 Bronze Medals. This<br />
year CT/GD M.Bimoljit Singh has been<br />
honoured with “Arjuna Award” on 29 th<br />
August, <strong>2012</strong> in Wushu discipline.<br />
