Engagement) to Annex C (<strong>Operations</strong>) as required.<br />

(Note: For operations within the United States and its territories, title this paragraph “Rules for the<br />

Use <strong>of</strong> Force”).<br />

(7) (U) Risk Reduction Control Measures. State measures specific to this operation not<br />

included in unit SOPs. <strong>The</strong>y may include mission-oriented protective posture, operational exposure<br />

guidance, troop-safety criteria, and fratricide prevention measures. Refer to Annex E (Protection) as<br />

required.<br />

(11) (U) Other Coordinating Instructions. List additional coordinating instructions and tasks<br />

that apply to two or more units as subparagraphs at this level as required.<br />

4. (U) Sustainment. Describe the concept <strong>of</strong> sustainment, including priorities <strong>of</strong> sustainment by unit or<br />

area. Include instructions for administrative movements, deployments, and transportation—or<br />

references to applicable appendixes—if appropriate. Use the following subparagraphs to provide the<br />

broad concept <strong>of</strong> support for logistics, personnel, and Army health system support. Provide detailed<br />

instructions for each sustainment subfunction in the appendixes to Annex F (Sustainment) listed in table<br />

E-2.<br />

a. (U) Logistics. Refer to Appendix 1 (Logistics) to Annex F (Sustainment) as required.<br />

b. (U) Personnel. Refer to Appendix 2 (Personnel Services Support) to Annex F (Sustainment) as<br />
