Installing the CPU 1. The CPU socket is readily accessible after you have removed the chassis cover. 2. Make sure the screw is in its unlock position. If it’s not, use a screwdriver to turn the screw to its unlock position. Screw in unlocked position CAUTION! CPU socket • Make sure all power cables are unplugged before you install the CPU. • The CPU socket must not come in contact with anything other than the CPU. Avoid unnecessary exposure.
