Objectives
• Being able to make translations of complex texts
from the source language into the target language
Syllabus
• Texts of increasing complexity chosen according to
both the interests of the students and the relevance to
other courses of the semester
Intended Learning Outcomes • By the end of the course, students will be expected
to be able to make translations from the source
language into the target language.
Learning/ Teaching Methods • Discussion of the process and techniques of
translation
• Advanced practice in translation of complex texts
through assignments
• Editing of the assigned translations
