PROJECT BENEFITS<br />
8.1 PHYSICAL INFRASTRUCTURE<br />
Once the expansion activity is commissioned, the socio-economic status of the local people will<br />
improve and there by infrastructure facilities like communication systems will improve. There<br />
will be improvement in infrastructure due to the proposed expansion project.<br />
8.2 SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE (TOR # 25)<br />
With the implementation of the expansion project, the socio-economic status of the local people<br />
will improve su<strong>bs</strong>tantially. The land rates in the area will improve in the nearby areas due to the<br />
proposed expansion activity. This will help in upliftment of the social status of the people in the<br />
area. Educational, medical facilities will certainly improve due to the proposed expansion<br />
project.<br />
8.3 EMPLOYMENT POTENTIAL<br />
The proposed project creates employment to 500 people during construction and 250 people<br />
during operation of the expansion project.<br />
8.3.1 SKILLED<br />
Total skilled employment in the proposed plant will be 35.<br />
8.3.2 SEMI-SKILLED<br />
Total Semi-skilled employment in the proposed expansion project will be 65. Priority will be<br />
given to local people for semi-skilled jo<strong>bs</strong>.<br />
