<strong>Town</strong> Clerk<br />
<strong>General</strong> <strong>Government</strong><br />
Elections were a big part <strong>of</strong> 2012 with 4 elections taking place. With every election the State<br />
Legislation added new challenges to the process; however we were successful in meeting the<br />
challenges as efficiently as the law allowed. We thank all <strong>of</strong> our residents for their patience<br />
on the Election Days! We have only 1 election this year and feel it should run smoothly.<br />
The <strong>Town</strong> Clerk’s <strong>of</strong>fice continues to work together with the Tax Office to cross train and<br />
take care <strong>of</strong> the needs <strong>of</strong> our residents. A large part in the cross training process is<br />
education. This past year Kerri was awarded a scholarship to attend the New England<br />
Municipal Clerks Institute held at Plymouth State University Campus, where she was voted<br />
President <strong>of</strong> her class <strong>of</strong> 2014 she will continue as a second year this summer. As a Certified<br />
<strong>Town</strong> Clerk Tax Collector, Kerri continues to attend the both annual conferences to stay<br />
current on her certifications and gain more experience and knowledge for both departments.<br />

Donna has completed her 2 nd year <strong>of</strong> Certification for Deputy <strong>Town</strong> Clerk and will continue<br />
again this year. Tax Collector Vikki Fogg is continuing her education for nursing and will<br />
still be working part-time for the <strong>Town</strong>, We do all that we can on the short staffing days<br />
to take care <strong>of</strong> the residents needs as efficiently as possible. There are however some<br />
days when there is only one staff member and we appreciate the understanding from the<br />
customers on those days.<br />
