the heralded tones of the past. The GT-12AX7M is a reissue of the
original Mullard 12AX7/ECC83, a tube that is considered by many to
be the ultimate vintage 12AX7. The 12-AX7C offers a warm, fat tone
with a great midrange. The 12-AX7R is a Russian-style tube, and
provides a tone that’s brighter with slightly lower gain.
