This beautiful semi-hollow guitar features a laminated maple top,
back, and sides, while its 3-piece maple neck and 22-fret ebony
fingerboard provide excellent feel and speed for everything from
chunky chording to intricate solos, thanks to a 1960s slim taper
profile. This exquisite recreation of Alex Lifeson’s ES-335
also offers a pair of ‘57 Classic humbucking pickups,
complete with a 6-position Vari-Tone selector and
bypass switch for getting a rich array of tones, from
clear clean to aggressive growl.
The appointments are magnificent, from the pearl
headstock and fingerboard inlays to the multi-ply
body binding. This Custom Shop ES-355 model
also sports gold hardware, including an
adjustable wide-travel Tune-O-Matic bridge,
Maestro Long vibrola tailpiece, and Grover
keystone tuners.

SG Custom Historic
Reissue
The SG Custom Historic Reissue is part of the VOS Series,
which means that Gibson built the guitar with historically accurate
materials and gently aged the finish to produce a guitar with a familiar, broken-in feel.
The traditional mahogany body and 1-piece mahogany 1960s slim-taper neck with
long neck tenon are coupled with an ebony fingerboard for a warm, fat tone. Running
the length of the neck is an elegant single-ply white binding. Parked at the end of the
fingerboard are three high-output Burstbucker pickups. The headstock is crowned with a
vintage-appropriate holly veneer, and loaded with gold tulip tuners.

The SG Standard Historic Reissue is crafted just as it was in
1961. A solid mahogany body is joined with a one-piece mahogany neck with rosewood
fingerboard. Burstbucker pickups provide the vintage tone of classic Gibson humbuckers,
and a Maestro tailpiece adds the finishing touch. The SG Standard Historic Reissue is just
takes the SG back to 1961, complete with the look and feel of a broken-in instrument.
