Fender’s Custom Shop Time Machine Series offers instruments that are built just like
they were in their respective years. Original materials and tooling are used to make sure that
every instrument is period-correct. The Time Machine Series is available in three distinct fi nish
packages: N.O.S. (New Old Stock) instruments are conditioned as if the guitar was discovered in a
warehouse after many years, never played and showing no signs of age or wear and tear; Closet
Classic guitars show their age a bit, with minor dings and scratches and slightly aged hardware; Relic models look as if the guitar has been
used nearly daily for years. The fi nish is heavily worn, the hardware is rusty, and overall the guitar looks as though it has seen years touring
and playing clubs. We have access to Fender’s entire Custom Shop line, so if you don’t see your axe of choice, give us a call and we’ll get it!
Merle Haggard
Signature Telecaster
The “Telecaster twang” is synonymous with country music,
and few players had an impact on modern country like Merle
Haggard. The Merle Haggard Signature Telecaster
merges these two country legends into a truly stunning tone
machine. The maple center block is flanked by tonechambered
select alder wings and topped by a figured maple
top with ivoroid binding. Electronically, a pair of Texas Special
single coils are wired to a 4-way switch that offers access to
the neck and bridge pickups individually along with pairings
in both series and parallel for more sonic options. The neck is
made from figured maple and is set rather than the Fenderstandard
bolt-on. Gold hardware and a mother-of-pearl
“Tone Dog” headstock further accentuate this rocker!

classic “Nocaster” from the dawn of rock n’ roll, this Thinline is

Nocaster are the semi-hollow body, which is constructed from
premium ash, a light tint nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and Twisted
Tele and Broadcaster pickups at the neck and bridge, respectively.

Custom Classic
Telecaster
The Fender Custom Classic Telecaster goes over the
top to deliver the perfect blend of vintage and modern,
resulting in one of the best-playing Teles you can put your
hands on. Its unique features include “Nocaster” Chrome
Dome knobs and “Top Hat” switch tip to complement
the Custom Classic bridge, reverse control plate,
and 3-ply parchment pickguard. True Tele tone
is supplied by a Twisted Tele neck pickup and a
classic Tele bridge pickup sitting in a thin-finished,
premium ash body that hosts a lightly figured
maple neck. This is a great guitar for anyone
who wants a classic Tele from the ‘60s with some
modern upgrades.

'52 Heavy Relic Telecaster
The Tele has been an icon in all genres of music since its inception. From
rock to country to blues and beyond, the “Tele spank” is unmistakeable.
The ‘52 Heavy Relic Telecaster sports a traditional ash body,
single-ply black pickguard, and a 1-piece 10/’56 “boat neck”
soft V-shaped maple neck — all treated to look as though the
instrument had withstood years of heavy use. Electronically,
this blast from the past is loaded with Custom Shop “Twisted”
Tele and Broadcaster pickups with a modern wiring circuit.
Aged plastic parts and rusty hardware complete the look.

'51 Nocaster Relic
During a trademark dispute over the name “Broadcaster,” Fender ® temporarily
produced Telecasters with just the Fender logo, hence the “Nocaster ® ” nickname.
The ‘51 Nocaster Relic is an exact replica of an instrument that would’ve
been produced in 1951, and used regularly over the years. The finish
and hardware are aged to show signs of wear and tear. Internally, the
Nocaster sports custom Nocaster pickups with special vintage wiring that
disengages the tone control and engages a special “dark” circuit when
in the third pickup selector position. This is a stunning recreation of a
Fender classic.
