At heart, Fender’s ‘57 Amp is a reissue of the revered Tweed Deluxe, an
amp with the classic tone that helped propel Fender tube amps to the top

the classic sound of a Tweed Deluxe, but rather than being covered in the
skin commonly associated with a tweed amp, the ‘57 Amp is shrouded
in a black “piano-lacquered” dovetail-joint maple cabinet. The original
Tweed Deluxe amp of the 1950s is well known for being one of the finest
tone machines ever devised. Fender’s ‘57 Amp ups the ante, updating the
Tweed Deluxe with a 12" Celestion Alnico Blue speaker, and adding all-new

'57 Deluxe
12-watt All-tube Combo Amp
Knowing that vintage Fender tube amps are in short
supply, Fender graciously releases the ‘57 Deluxe ,
a handwired all-tube tone machine that’s great for
any style of rock, blues, or country. The pine cabinet
is covered in genuine lacquered tweed with vintage
brown/gold grille cloth. Two 12AX7 preamp tubes, along
with a matched pair of Groove Tubes GT6V6 output tubes,
provide the sound we’ve all grown to expect from vintage
Fender tube amps. Fender also thoughtfully incorporated
a 5Y3 rectifier tube, which adds natural tube compression
and “sag” when the amp is pushed harder. The ‘57
Deluxe boasts the classic sound of an original Fender
Deluxe amp of the 1950s, which was a medium-powered
amp that quickly gained favor with guitarists of the day
and found its way onto countless live stages and recorded
performances. The solid pine cabinet and 12" Jensen
P-12Q speaker — just like the original — further
contribute to the ‘57 Deluxe’s trademark sound.
