takes that concept a bit further with
their MTS Series of modular tube amps. The genius behind the MTS
amps is that you can mix and match your favorite flavors of amps, from British Invasion jangle to
face-melting metal, and everything in between. The heart of the MTS series lies in the amp itself, with a 100-watt head
(the RM100S) available. The RM100S will hold three, and incorporates 6L6s in the power amp section.
And here’s where the real fun begins: choosing your modules. The MTS series of tube preamp modules offers a signature
Dan Donegan module (MTS 1086), a George Lynch signature module (the aptly titled Mr. Scary), a trio of
Kirk Hammet signature modules with Clean, Vintage, and Modern tones (for more Kirk Hammett inspired tones
check out the KH120RHS and corresponding combo amp below). There’s also a whole host of modules that faithfully
mimic some of the most sought-after amps from history, including both British amp manufacturers (Plexi, JTM, and
Top Boost) that powered the rock revolution in the ‘60s, classic American clean tones (Blackface), modern metal
favorites (Treadplate), and even boutique amps (XTC). If you prefer spank to crunch, the Clean module may just be
the ticket. And if you want to get the max out of your RM100S head, add the matched RA412XLS 4 x 12" cabinet.

combination of custom-made transformers and special

120-watt Kirk Hammett Signature Half Stack
Metallica is undoubtedly one of the most important metal bands ever, and a
huge part of their success stems from the frenetic fretwork of lead guitarist
Kirk Hammett. The KH120RHS gives you raging metal tones with plenty of
horsepower to make yourself heard. Using two custom-voiced preamp channels
with three modes (Clean, Vintage, and Modern) and a solid-state power section,
the KH120RHS pumps 120 loud watts through its straight-front 4 x 12" cabinet.
This affordable half-stack also includes spring reverb, an effects loop, Tape/CD
input, and a footswitch.
A bit on the smaller side, but no less impressive-sounding, the KH15 is a 15-watt
practice amp that’s perfect for backstage practice or bedroom shredding. The
KH15 includes a Hammett Clean channel and Hammett Overdrive channel (with boost),
as well as spring reverb, black cloth front, headphone jack, and a Tape/CD input for jamming along
with your favorite tunes. Bass, Middle, Treble, and Volume controls are onboard the solid-state KH15, which pumps its
wattage through a 6.5" speaker. For Metallica-tinged tones without breaking the bank, these solid-state metal monsters
