Access Levels
OpenLDAP support four access levels. Granting a greater
access level implies granting all lower levels. For example,
granting read access implies search and compare.
compare
search
read
write
Allows a client to send a value to the DSA to be
compared to a specific attribute of a specific object.
Returns a true or false on the comparison.
Allows a client to request a list of objects matching
a given criteria.
Allows a client to retrieve the attribute value pairs
of an object.
Allows a client to modify the attribute value pairs
of an object as well as possibly create and remove
objects themselves.
