saslauthd Options<br />

saslauthd a authmech { Tv} { O option} { m mux_path} { n threads}<br />

shadow – Authenitcates against the system's shadow password file<br />

using the getspnam() and getuserpw() routines.<br />

On platforms which support login time constraints in /etc/shadow the<br />

-T option enables the enforcement of those constraints.<br />

sasldb – Authenticates against the contents of a SASL2 secrets file.<br />

This method is often disabled at compile time for saslauthd. You<br />

probably want to used the sasldb auxprop plugin, and not saslauthd in<br />

this case.<br />

ldap – Authenticates against an LDAPv3 (OpenLDAP 2.0.x or greater)<br />

DSA.<br />

The -O option can be used to specify the location of the LDAP<br />

options file, the saslauthd.conf file is used by default.
