filmmaking process shapes the answers
she receives. The result is an intensely
revealing documentary that peels back
family secrets layer by layer—including
the revelation that Polley’s father is
not her own.

Woman: the most dangerous game
n Three lifelong female friends
revisit the Maine island where they
vacationed as kids—and end up running
for their lives. The long-awaited
reunion between Abby (Katie
Aselton), Sarah (Kate Bosworth), and
Lou (Lake Bell) is interrupted by the
discovery that three ex-Marines are
illegally hunting on the island and
that the women know one of the men,
Henry (Will Bouvier), from high
school. When Henry gets too friendly
with Sarah, she defends herself and
accidentally kills him. Henry’s two
friends then come after the female
friends as payback for their buddy’s
death, forcing Abby, Sarah, and Lou
to flee—then fight back.
