«ProfIC 5 – Cation» – Professional IC system<br />
with variable sample preconcentration<br />
Professional IC system for trace analysis of cations and<br />
anions (non-suppressed). With the «ProfIC 5», concentrations<br />
down to the ppb range (µg/L) can be reliably<br />
determined. The intelligent 800 Dosino carries out the<br />
high-precision sample preconcentration on the preconcentration<br />
column, which replaces the sample loop.<br />
This means that it is possible to preconcentrate and<br />
analyze more than 50 mL of the sample instead of the<br />
10...20 µL sample used for direct injection via the sample<br />
loop. It is also possible to calibrate the system using<br />
the 800 Dosino. In this case it will do to work with the<br />
single most concentrated standard, from which varying<br />
volumes are transferred to the preconcentration<br />
column.<br />
«ProfIC 5» features intelligent system components<br />
such as the iPump, the iDetector and the 800 Dosino<br />
and provides space for a total of three iColumns. The<br />
MagIC Net software monitors and controls the functions<br />
of all components.<br />
The 858 Professional Sample Processor supplies the<br />
samples. Transfer takes place with the 800 Dosino.<br />
Numerous sample racks are available for volumes<br />
0.5...500 mL. The minimum volume for preconcentration<br />
is 0.5 mL.<br />
