Maximum sample throughput with minimal effort!<br />

Considering the large number of samples and ever<br />

more complicated sample preparation steps, the use of<br />

robots is becoming increasingly important, even in analytical<br />

laboratories. The more working steps that have<br />

to be carried out per sample, the more worthwhile is<br />

the professional automation of these steps. This is not<br />

just about transferring liquids from one beaker to the<br />

next in order to analyze the sample – the simplification<br />

of the whole analytical procedure from sample preparation<br />

up to carrying out multiple determinations is<br />

what customers expect today.<br />

Reproducibility and accuracy are the essentials in analyses<br />

and thus represent one of the main challenges for<br />

automation. Basic operations in modern automation<br />

such as pipetting, transferring, taking aliquots,<br />

dosing and dispensing have become perfectly easy<br />

thanks to the Robotic Sample Processor generation.<br />

Using the 786 Swing Head a maximum number<br />

of sample vessels can always be placed on the<br />

rack, so that series that are as large as possible can<br />

be processed. Depending on the vessel sizes used and<br />

the application, this maximum is between 28 and 160<br />

positions (standard racks).<br />

next sample prepared, for example. In this way the<br />

time per analysis is reduced to a minimum.<br />

The Sample Processor can be controlled by Touch<br />

Control, PC Control or by the tiamo titration<br />

software. The examples of methods supplied make<br />

method creation perfectly easy.<br />

Thanks to the compact design more complex tasks can<br />

also be carried out reliably. Processing the samples<br />

in parallel is easy with the Robotic Sample Processor<br />

XL. While the pipetted sample volume is being titrated<br />

one sample rack for 100 x 75 mL<br />
