Program Overview<br />

The Water and Wastewater Operator<br />

program (YWWOP) offers a range of<br />

courses designed to meet the needs of<br />

water and wastewater operators working<br />

within municipal, territorial, federal or<br />

First Nations’ governments. We also have<br />

courses relevant to health professionals,<br />

supervisors and homeowners involved<br />

and/or interested in water quality.<br />

Whether you are an experienced operator<br />

or are brand new to the field, we have<br />

courses for you!<br />

The water industry is a rapidly changing<br />

and growing career area with a shortage<br />

of qualified workers to fill positions. If<br />

you are already in the water industry our<br />

program can assist you in expanding<br />

your skills, maintaining your certification<br />

or in just keeping up with changing<br />

technology. Whether you are looking to<br />

brush up your skills, are just joining the<br />

job market or are simply looking for a<br />

new and exciting field to enter, YWWOP<br />
