DANGER<br />
The heating system may freeze if it is not<br />
operational in times of frost.<br />
Protect the heating system against freezing if<br />
there is a danger of frost affecting the system.<br />
Drain the heating system water from the lowest<br />
point of the heating system.<br />
The vent screw at the highest point of the<br />
heating system must then be open.<br />
DANGER<br />
Should overheating occur or gas supply fail to<br />
shut off, turn off the manual gas control valve to<br />
the boiler.<br />
10.1 Shut down the heating system using the<br />
control unit<br />
Shut down your heating system using the BC10 basic<br />
controller. When the BC10 basic controller is shut down, the<br />
burner is also switched off automatically. Further information<br />
on how to operate the BC10 basic controller can be found in<br />
chapter 9 "BC10 basic controller", page 39.<br />
• Switch off the heating system using the main switch.<br />
• Close the main shut-off valve or the gas shut-off valve.<br />
10.2 Shutting down the heating system in the<br />
event of an emergency<br />
You must immediately close the main shut-off valve or gas<br />
shut-off valve and disconnect the power from the heating<br />
system.<br />
• Close the main shut-off valve.<br />
