The Golf Club<br />
1flbURING the past year the Golf Club has made great progress. The<br />
-‘- opening <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong> Golf Course has added the needed facili<br />
ties close at hand. The women <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong> are now affiliated with<br />
the Club and take part in its activities. Tournaments for the year in<br />
cluded the Student-Faculty match, Handicap Championship, Open<br />
Championship, Victoria College match and home and away matches with<br />
Washington. One <strong>of</strong> the achievements <strong>of</strong> the Club has been the gaining<br />
<strong>of</strong> reduced rates on the <strong>University</strong> Course for all members <strong>of</strong> the student<br />
body. Much interest has been aroused and more progress is expected in<br />
the coming year.<br />
Officers for the year include: President, Wilfred McKnight; Vice<br />
President, Alice Bailey; Secretary-Treasurer, Arnold Powell; Business<br />
Manager, Alfred Evans.<br />
