There is little doubt that many <strong>of</strong> the players who started the game with<br />
U. B. C. this year will be worthy <strong>of</strong> a permanent place on the Varsity<br />
squad next season.<br />
A notable feature among the activities <strong>of</strong> the Club was the two-day<br />
trip to Duncan, made during the Christmas holidays. Residents <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Island city were the hosts and arranged a very pleasant week-end for the<br />
invaders from U. B. C., the programme including two men’s games, one<br />
mixed game and a dance.<br />
The gratitude <strong>of</strong> the Club is once again due to Mr. Bushell who has<br />
given freely <strong>of</strong> his time in coaching both teams and providing chalk talks<br />
during noon hours.<br />
The business <strong>of</strong> the Club throughout the year has been efficiently<br />
executed by the following <strong>of</strong>ficers: Honorary President, Lt.-Col. H.<br />
Logan; President, Sidney Semple; Vice-President, M. DesBrisay; Secre<br />
tary, F. Jakeway.
