‘lF’HE Class <strong>of</strong> Agriculture ‘31 entered <strong>University</strong> with very promising<br />
in our first year one <strong>of</strong> the largest classes ever entered in this faculty and<br />
with the highest marks ever obtained by any Freshman Agriculture class.<br />

“Toly” came to Canada in 1926 with the os<br />
tensible objects <strong>of</strong> improving his English and study<br />
ing Canadian methods in Agriculture. After looking<br />
over all the courses in the CaJendar he linally decided<br />
to major in Agricultural Economics. His cheerful<br />
manner and his enthusiasm for campus affairs have<br />
made him many friends in <strong>University</strong> circles, and<br />
his cheery, “Hello fellows,” is a well-known greet<br />
ing. His adventurous nature and perseverance will<br />
undoubtedly lead him to success in the future.<br />
