Supervisory Board<br />
As <strong>at</strong> the balance sheet d<strong>at</strong>e, the Supervisory Board of PALFINGER AG consisted of six members<br />
elected by the Annual General Meeting and three members deleg<strong>at</strong>ed by the Works Council.<br />
At the 2011 Annual General Meeting, Chairman Alexander Doujak, whose term of office expired in<br />
2011, was re-elected to the Board. At the same meeting, Hannes Palfinger and Heinrich Dieter<br />
Kiener were elected to the Board, each for the first time. The mand<strong>at</strong>es of Alexander Exner and<br />
Hubert Palfinger sen. as Supervisory Board members ended <strong>at</strong> the 2011 Annual General Meeting.<br />

Alexander Doujak<br />
Chairman of the Supervisory Board<br />
Alexander Doujak is an acting partner of corpor<strong>at</strong>e consultants Alexander Doujak GmbH. The economist<br />
has acted as a consultant for PALFINGER since 1995 on a number of str<strong>at</strong>egic issues. In 2006,<br />
he was elected to the Supervisory Board of PALFINGER AG and has been Chairman of the Board<br />
since 13 December 2010.<br />
Hubert Palfinger jun.<br />
Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board<br />
After spending 15 years with various companies of the PALFINGER Group, Hubert Palfinger jun.<br />
took over the management of Industrieholding GmbH in 2004. He has held a se<strong>at</strong> on the Supervisory<br />
Board of PALFINGER AG since 2005 and has acted as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board<br />
since September 2008.<br />
Hannes Palfinger<br />
Member of the Supervisory Board<br />
After taking his degree in business economics and pursuing a career as an <strong>at</strong>hlete, Hannes Palfinger<br />
spent three years working for Pricew<strong>at</strong>erhouseCoopers in Vienna as an assistant auditor. He has<br />
been affili<strong>at</strong>ed with PALFINGER through numerous traineeships <strong>at</strong> the Company. Since 2007,<br />
Hannes Palfinger has held an executive position <strong>at</strong> Palfinger systems GmbH, whose marine business<br />
was acquired by the PALFINGER Group in 2010.<br />
Other than Hubert Palfinger jun. and Hannes Palfinger, no member of the Supervisory Board holds<br />
or represents a shareholding in the Company of more than 1 per cent.<br />
