which affect the architectural and building trades industry.<br />

Program graduates have a variety of career possibilities,<br />

including positions with residential and commercial builders,<br />

construction companies, cost estimators, facilities-planning<br />

offices, architect's and designer's offices, building supply<br />

centers, the pre-engineered metal building industry, engineering<br />

firms, and structural steel detailing firms.<br />

Program Notes: Students must earn a grade of “C” or better in<br />

all courses required within the program. Students planning to<br />

transfer to a four-year college or university should contact the<br />

Industrial Technology faculty or the Advisement Center for<br />

specific information on transfer requirements.<br />

The Architectural Drafting program provides students with the<br />

background, knowledge, and skills required to begin a career in<br />

architectural drafting and computer-aided design. Students<br />

gain on-the-board studio skills as well as computer-aided<br />
