General
Problem
You cannot erase
messages in the mailbox.
When you play back
messages or you turn the
Answering system on, the unit
announces the wrong day.
Caller ID information does
not display during message
playback (p. 87, 92).
Problem
The unit does not work.
You cannot program items,
such as the dialing mode.
Cause & Remedy
•While another user is accessing the mailbox or a
caller is leaving a message in the mailbox, you
cannot erase messages in the same mailbox.
•The date may be set wrong. Adjust the date
(p. 20).
•The caller information will not be displayed
•– if a message is recorded by using (MEMO) (p. 89),
•– if a call is transferred to a mailbox, and the
caller leaves a message (p. 90), or
•– if the Caller List is renewed and the caller
information is erased (p. 40).
Cause & Remedy
•Check the settings (p. 11–14).
•Check whether the dialing mode setting is
correct (p. 21).
•Charge the battery fully (p. 14).
•Clean the charge contacts and charge again (p. 15).
•Install the battery properly (p. 14).
•Unplug the AC adaptor to reset. Plug in, and
try again.
•The handset has not been registered to the
base unit. Register the handset (p. 31, 105).
•Re-install the battery (p. 103) and charge it fully.
•Programming is not possible while the unit is
being used.
•Do not pause for over 60 seconds while
programming.
•Walk closer to the base unit if you are using
the handset.
•Ö, Ñ, Ü or á may have been pressed.
Press (OFF) or (STOP/EXIT) and try again.
•If more than three other users are using the
handsets, you may not be able to program
with the handset. Try again later.
•If the 2-Way Radio mode is on, turn it off to
program with the handset (p. 74).
