Only 34 per cent of young people were aware they had a care plan. When
this was further explored with young people it became apparent that very
limited numbers of young people had been involved in the planning process.
Inpatient Services
Young people were asked to comment on their experiences of inpatient
services using themes from the QNIC standards. Twenty three young people
had experience of adolescent in-patient services (Beechcroft Adolescent Unit
and Donard); 10 young people had experience of stays on adult wards; and,
three young people had been inpatient in Great Britain treatment centres.
