Note – In the above example, refers to the mount point of the<br />

<strong>Lustre</strong> filesystem. The default is /mnt/lustre.<br />

Note – The old lfs quota output was very detailed and contained clusterwide<br />

quota statistics (including clusterwide limits for a user/group and clusterwide usage<br />

for a user/group), as well as statistics for each MDS/OST. Now, lfs quota has<br />

been updated to provide only clusterwide statistics, by default. To obtain the full<br />

report of clusterwide limits, usage and statistics, use the -v option with lfs quota.<br />

Description<br />

The lfs utility is used to create a file with a specific pattern. It can be invoked<br />

interactively without any arguments or in a non-interactive mode with one of the<br />

arguments supported.<br />
