Description<br />

--failnode=nid,...<br />

--fsname=filesystem_name<br />

Sets the NID(s) of a failover partner. This option can be repeated as<br />

needed.<br />

The <strong>Lustre</strong> filesystem of which this service/node will be a part. The<br />

default filesystem name is “lustre”.<br />

--index=index<br />

--mkfsoptions=opts<br />

--mountfsoptions=opts<br />

--mgsnode=nid,...<br />

--param key=value<br />

--quiet<br />

--reformat<br />

--param sys.timeout=40<br />

NOTE: The filesystem name is limited to 8 characters.<br />

Forces a particular OST or MDT index.<br />

Formats options for the backing filesystem. For example, ext3 options<br />

could be set here.<br />

Sets permanent mount options. This is equivalent to the setting in<br />

/etc/fstab.<br />

Sets the NIDs of the MGS node, required for all targets other than the<br />

MGS.<br />

Sets the permanent parameter key to value. This option can be<br />

repeated as desired. Typical options might include:<br />

System obd timeout.<br />

--param lov.stripesize=2M<br />

Default stripe size.<br />

--param lov.stripecount=2<br />

Default stripe count.<br />

--param failover.mode=failout<br />

Returns errors instead of waiting for recovery.<br />

Prints less information.<br />

Reformats an existing <strong>Lustre</strong> disk.<br />
