Regional <strong>Protocols</strong><br />

Because of the diversity among <strong>NOAA</strong> <strong>Fisheries</strong> acoustic surveys, these protocols are specified<br />

in general terms to allow each Science Center survey flexibility in their approach to meeting the<br />

st<strong>and</strong>ardization criteria. In the following appendices the specific methodology used to<br />

implement the st<strong>and</strong>ardization requirements of the protocol by each <strong>NOAA</strong> <strong>Fisheries</strong> acoustic<br />

survey is described.<br />
