Sunday School Curriculum <strong>Grade</strong> 1<br />
So, Joshua did as God told him and asked <strong>the</strong> priests to carry <strong>the</strong> ark and walk in front <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
people. Once <strong>the</strong>ir feet touched <strong>the</strong> Jordan River, <strong>the</strong> water was cut and moved far to <strong>the</strong> sides. In<br />
<strong>the</strong> middle <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> water God made a dry road for <strong>the</strong>m to cross over. The priests carrying <strong>the</strong> ark<br />
stood in <strong>the</strong> middle till all <strong>the</strong> people <strong>of</strong> God crossed over to <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r side <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> river to a dry<br />
land. Then, finally <strong>the</strong> priests with <strong>the</strong> ark came out to <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r side <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> river. Once <strong>the</strong>y<br />
stepped out <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> river <strong>the</strong> water came back and <strong>the</strong> road that God made for <strong>the</strong>m disappeared.<br />
The people <strong>of</strong> God were happy that helped <strong>the</strong>m to cross <strong>the</strong> river to come to <strong>the</strong> nice land with <strong>the</strong><br />
many goodies that God chose for <strong>the</strong>m.<br />
Conclusion:<br />
God always walks with His children and shows <strong>the</strong>m <strong>the</strong> way <strong>the</strong>y should walk in.<br />
Applications:<br />
Give <strong>the</strong> children a picture <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> ark to color<br />
Review and continue memorizing an additional part from <strong>the</strong> Agpeya prayer<br />
