Review <strong>the</strong> previous lesson and verse<br />

Ask <strong>the</strong> children who is <strong>the</strong>ir best friend?<br />

Do you know if Jesus Christ had friends? Who are <strong>the</strong>y?<br />

Would you like Jesus Christ to be your friend?<br />

Lesson Outlines:<br />

There were two sisters and a bro<strong>the</strong>r called Mary, Martha and Lazarus. They lived toge<strong>the</strong>r in one<br />

house and <strong>the</strong>y loved Jesus Christ very much. Jesus also loved <strong>the</strong>m very much and <strong>the</strong>y were very<br />

close friends.<br />

Jesus Christ used to visit <strong>the</strong>m frequently and he was always comfortable in <strong>the</strong>ir house. One day<br />

Jesus went to visit <strong>the</strong>m and <strong>the</strong>y made a big dinner for Him. Martha was very busy in <strong>the</strong> kitchen<br />

preparing <strong>the</strong> food, all kinds <strong>of</strong> tasty and delicious plates. But Mary her sister went and sat down at<br />

<strong>the</strong> feet <strong>of</strong> Jesus Christ to listen to what He said and His nice words. Martha became upset because<br />

Mary her sister was not helping her in <strong>the</strong> kitchen to prepare <strong>the</strong> food. So, Martha went to Jesus to<br />

complain about her sister. But Jesus wanted Martha to come and sit with <strong>the</strong>m and listen to His words<br />

too. He really wanted Martha to spend time with <strong>the</strong>m and chat with <strong>the</strong>m. Jesus <strong>the</strong>n told Martha:<br />

Martha…Martha, you are worried and busy with <strong>the</strong> food and <strong>the</strong> serving but you really need to come<br />

and sit with Me just like Mary did. Jesus wanted to spend time with His friends Mary, Martha and<br />

Lazarus and He wanted <strong>the</strong>m to listen to His sweet words.<br />
