Sunday School Curriculum <strong>Grade</strong> 1<br />

Then <strong>the</strong> Lord said: “When Adam comes, what will he eat?” The Lord ordered <strong>the</strong> earth to bring<br />

out good vegetables so that when Adam comes he can eat good food. Many vegetables and fruits<br />

appeared on earth, apples, watermelon, grapes, oranges, etc. (The Servant asks <strong>the</strong> children to<br />

complete <strong>the</strong> list <strong>of</strong> vegetables and fruits).<br />

Then <strong>the</strong> Lord said, “When Adam comes, what will he ride when he wants to travel? A cat? A<br />

dog? (Here <strong>the</strong> children say: a donkey... a horse... a camel) God made all <strong>the</strong> animals (rabbit, lion,<br />

elephant). The Servant asks <strong>the</strong> children to complete <strong>the</strong> list <strong>of</strong> animals (Do not concentrate on<br />

animals in this lesson, as we shall explain <strong>the</strong>m in detail in <strong>the</strong> next lesson).<br />

God made <strong>the</strong> birds, <strong>the</strong> fish, etc.<br />

On <strong>the</strong> sixth day: <strong>the</strong> last day <strong>the</strong> Lord said, “Everything is good”. Then <strong>the</strong> Lord brought<br />

some mud and brea<strong>the</strong>d life-giving breath into it -and Oh! There was a very good-looking man<br />

standing before <strong>the</strong> Lord and <strong>the</strong> man was very happy and <strong>the</strong> Lord said to him, “Your name is<br />

Adam. You will have all <strong>the</strong>se things for your benefit and I will be with you”. Adam saw<br />

everything and knew that everything was useful to him.<br />

The servant should note <strong>the</strong> following:<br />

Concentrate on <strong>the</strong> Love <strong>of</strong> God for Adam.<br />

Conclusion:<br />

God created <strong>the</strong> whole world and Adam in six days and He rested on <strong>the</strong> seventh day.<br />

Applications:<br />

We must thank God when we pray for <strong>the</strong> things he created for us such as <strong>the</strong> sun, plants and<br />

animals. When <strong>the</strong> servant prays with his class, he must thank <strong>the</strong> Lord Jesus for <strong>the</strong> sun, <strong>the</strong><br />

light and all <strong>the</strong> things God made for us.<br />

Color a picture <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> creation, if <strong>the</strong> servant can find one to provide for coloring.<br />
