Sunday School Curriculum Grade 1
How many meals was she baking?
What makes the dough rise?
Was the leaven good or bad?
Jesus Christ told the people this story because He wanted to tell them that if we were good boys
and girls we would be like the good leaven. Our friends, brothers and sisters will see that we are good
and they will imitate us to be good like us. This is like the good leaven that made the bread around it
look good and taste good.
Conclusion:
If we are good children of God, our friends will try to be good like us. The more friends we have,
the more people will become children of God like us.
Applications:
We should be nice to our friends, brothers, and sisters.
Help your mother when she is baking at home and tell her the story that Jesus Christ told to the
people.
