Introduction:<br />
Teach <strong>the</strong> children <strong>the</strong> hymn <strong>of</strong> Hosanna in <strong>the</strong> Highest [Praise <strong>the</strong> a Lord, Page 25]<br />

Lesson Outlines:<br />
Christ was with his disciples on <strong>the</strong> mountain. He asked two <strong>of</strong> His disciples to bring a donkey for<br />
Him to ride on (Describe <strong>the</strong> donkey, white in color, clean, calm, no one had ridden it before).<br />
They met <strong>the</strong> owner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> donkey and talked to him as <strong>the</strong> Lord told <strong>the</strong>m.<br />
The people <strong>of</strong> Jerusalem knew that Christ was coming. What did <strong>the</strong>y do? The women left <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
houses and did not cook. The children put on new clo<strong>the</strong>s and went out to see Christ. Men shut<br />
<strong>the</strong> doors <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir shops and went out to see Christ. They all carried roses, palm leaves and waited<br />
for Christ to come.<br />
Christ rode <strong>the</strong> donkey and entered Jerusalem like a king. There was joy in heaven. The angels<br />
were happy.<br />
