PNAMDC Inc. Chapter <strong>Report</strong> .<br />

1. Represented the association to the delegation of the House Committee on<br />

Civil Services and Professional Regulation Commission of the philippines at<br />

the Embassy of the Philippines.<br />

2. PNAMDC Chapter is the first in the Eastern Region Division and the second<br />

PNA chapter affiliated with the Philippine Nurses Association of America to<br />

promote Medical Missions to the Philippines.<br />

3. Sponsored four very successful surgical-medical mission providing general<br />

surgery plastic surgical, ophthalmology, dental services, gynecology, medical<br />

and pediatric conSUltations.<br />

patients -1,939.<br />

• Tayabas Community Hospital - Tayabas, Quezon. January 2003. Total<br />

patients -2,110<br />

Total patients - 3221 <br />

Symposium on Cardiovascular Care in the 21' Century and on <br />

• Palliative and End of Life Care. CEU 7.5 provided by the American<br />

Association of Critical Care Nurses Cebu City Medical Center, Cebu,<br />

City January 2005. Total patients - 2,941<br />

4. Participated in Talk Show Program with local TV Channel 58 and cable<br />

Channel 22 sharing ideas and concepts of humanitarian services through the<br />

medical missions.<br />

5. Participated in an interview program with ABS-CBN TV channel in supporting<br />

the Philippine Embassy to pursue continued deployment of Filipino nurses in<br />

the USA.<br />

6. Maintain an active membership with the <strong>PNAA</strong>, Inc.<br />

Visibility:<br />

1. Provides first aid services during the fair, parade and other various festivities<br />

in conjunction with the annual Philippine Independence Day celebration in<br />

Washington, D.C.
