• Collaborate and participate actively with the Ethnic Minority Nurses to address the<br />
issues of nursing students and prospective students in San Diego County<br />
• On May 20 th participated with the American Cancer SOciety ""Relay for Life"<br />
celebration in memory of loved ones and survivors in the fight for Cancer at the<br />
Hilltop Community Park. Provided first aid booth did BP screenings<br />
• Will collaborate with SDHispanic Nurses and SDBlack Nurses, Association in the<br />
upcoming Disaster Preparedness to be held in July.<br />
• Will participate in the "Festival of Festivals" at Kimball Park on June 10-11th 2006 in<br />
cel.ebration of Philippine Independence.<br />

5. Review and act on the regulations and public policies which <br />
directly and indirectly affect healthcare and nursing practice <br />
• Free 1 hour CEU's are offered to all members attending the meetings held every 3rd<br />
Sunday. ..<br />
• Review of recent successful removal of CGFNS as a requirement for admission to<br />
SBNJ, in current discussion.<br />
