● The comprehensive nature of the project activities is important: As the project<br />
<strong>in</strong>cludes aspects rang<strong>in</strong>g from the provision of <strong>in</strong>formation through to rehabilitation<br />
and detoxification, there is a cont<strong>in</strong>uum of care for street children. This is important,<br />
as it encourages long-term contact between the organisation and the target group.<br />
● Susta<strong>in</strong>ability: Involv<strong>in</strong>g the target group <strong>in</strong> the plann<strong>in</strong>g, implementation and<br />
evaluation of the project ensures a high level of susta<strong>in</strong>ability and ownership. The peer<br />
educators know how to run the project and activities and can cont<strong>in</strong>ue this work <strong>in</strong> the<br />
