MGT 240 MGT Decision Making (3-0-3)<br />
This course is a study of various structured approaches to managerial<br />
decision making. The situations are realistic and will aid<br />
in developing problem-solving skills. Prerequisites: MGT 101,<br />
CPT 170, ACC 101, and MKT 101.<br />

MKT 101 Marketing (3-0-3)<br />
This course covers an introduction to the field of marketing<br />
with a detailed study of the marketing concept and the processes<br />
of product development, pricing, promotion, and marketing<br />
distribution.<br />
MKT 110 Retailing (3-0-3)<br />
This course is a study of the importance of retailing in American<br />
business and covers the concepts of store location, layout,<br />
merchandising, display, pricing, inventory control, promotional<br />
programs, and profit management.<br />
MKT 130 Customer Service Principles (3-0-3)<br />
This course is a study of the importance of customer service<br />
satisfaction and the functions of various customer relations<br />
systems.<br />

This course is a study of electronic marketing. In addition to<br />
traditional marketing topics, special emphasis will be placed<br />
on Internet marketing fundamentals, strategies, and trends.<br />
MKT 141 Electronic Commerce Strategies (3-0-3)<br />
This course is a overview of the e-commerce business from<br />
conception to implementation and evaluation. Special emphasis<br />
will be placed on budgeting, securing financial resources,<br />
and fiscal management.<br />

This course is a study of legal issues related to e-commerce.<br />
Special emphasis will be placed on copyright laws, intellectual<br />
property rights, and patent law.<br />
MKT 150 Marketing Applications for<br />

This course is a study of various techniques used in an electronic<br />
society. Technologies studied will include e-conferencing,<br />
e-mail, web page design, and an analysis of web pages that are<br />
currently being used for e-commerce on the World Wide Web.<br />
MKT 198 Special Topics in E-Commerce (3-0-3)<br />
This course covers a multifaceted view of companies that have<br />
utilized e-commerce. Special emphasis will be placed on case<br />
studies involving managerial decision making and potential<br />
opportunities to e-commerce.<br />

This course is a study of the role of advertising in the marketing<br />
of goods and services, including types of advertising, media,<br />
how advertising is created, agency functions, and regulatory<br />
aspects of advertising.<br />

individuals make decisions to spend their available resources<br />

MLS 111 Air Force Today I (2-3-2)<br />
This course provides a study of the Air Force in the contemporary<br />
world by examining the total force structure which<br />
includes strategic offensive and defensive, general purpose, and<br />
aerospace support. Leadership laboratory includes drill<br />
fundamentals, customs, and courtesies of the service.<br />
MLS 112 Air Force Today II (2-3-2)<br />
This course is a continuation of the study of the total force<br />
structure. Leadership laboratory includes drill ceremonies and<br />
an introduction of Air Force careers.<br />
MLS 211 Air Power Development I (2-3-2)<br />
This course provides a study of the development of air power<br />
from balloons through civic actions of the 1960s and the air<br />
war in Southeast Asia. Leadership experiences include guiding,<br />
directing, and controlling an Air Force unit.<br />
MLS 212 Air Power Development II (2-3-2)<br />
This course provides a study of the development of air power<br />
from the air war in Southeast Asia to the present. Leadership<br />
laboratory experiences include advanced training in managing<br />
an Air Force unit.<br />

MLS 107 Leadership Fundamentals I (2-3-2)<br />
The study of leadership focused at the individual level. Students<br />
will learn effective communicating skill, ethical decisionmaking,<br />
small group management and mental and physical<br />
conditioning. Skills will be applied in a variety of challenging<br />
training events during Leadership Laboratory to include<br />
rappelling, water survival, land navigation and team athletics.<br />
MLS 108 Leadership Fundamentals II (2-3-2)<br />
Continued study of leadership focused at the individual and<br />
team level. Topics include problem solving, critical thinking,<br />
leadership styles and group cohesion. Leadership laboratory<br />
training will include small unit tactics and weapons firing.<br />
MLS 207 Leadership Development I (2-3-2)<br />
The study of leadership focused at the team level. Students<br />
will develop leadership skills through public speaking, managing<br />
small groups, and mentoring first year students. Skill<br />
will be applied in a variety of challenging training events during<br />
Leadership Laboratory to include rappelling, water survival,<br />
land navigation and team-building exercises.<br />
MLS 208 Leadership Development II (2-3-2)<br />
Continued study of leadership at the team and small group<br />
