Electrocardiology<br />

PROGRAM INFORMATION<br />

Electrocardiology is a certificate program that prepares<br />

students for entry-level positions in hospitals, doctors’<br />

offices and/or clinics. Students learn to record the electrical<br />

activity of the patient’s heart for diagnostic analysis<br />

by a physician and identify normal and abnormal<br />

recordings.<br />

SCHEDULING AND ENTRY OPTIONS<br />

Classes are held in the evening with clinical experience<br />

during day hours. The Electrocardiology program is<br />

offered during the Summer Term and Fall Semester and<br />

can be completed in one term.<br />

PROGRAM INFORMATION<br />

Dental Assistants are multi-skilled dental professionals<br />

trained to work in many specialty areas of dentistry,<br />

including restorative dentistry and preventive oral health<br />

care. Students learn the skills necessary to provide<br />

patient education, apply pit and fissure sealants, produce<br />

intra-oral and extra-oral radiographs, polish teeth and<br />

fillings, assist the dentist, prepare dental materials, and<br />

manage dental offices.<br />

SCHEDULING AND ENTRY OPTIONS<br />

The Expanded Duty Dental Assisting program is a fulltime<br />

day program with courses in the major starting in<br />

the Fall Semester. Full-time students can complete the<br />

program in two semesters and a Summer Term. General<br />

Education courses are offered both day and evening<br />

and can be completed at any time before or during the<br />

program.<br />
