Derek Settlemyre Head Equipment Manager<br />

Derek Settlemyre enters his seventh season as head equipment manager for the <strong>Flyers</strong> and<br />

his 18th year with the organization. He was promoted to his current position in 2006 after<br />

serving as the head equipment manager for the <strong>Philadelphia</strong> Phantoms for 10 seasons. He<br />

spent two years as an assistant equipment manager with the <strong>Flyers</strong> and a year in the same<br />

role with the Florida Panthers before taking the head job with the Phantoms when the team<br />

was founded in 1996.<br />

Settlemyre has an impressive international resume with Team USA, most recently serving<br />

as the co-head equipment manager at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. He was<br />

also head equipment manager for Team USA at the 2007 World Championships, held in<br />

Moscow, Russia, and served as co-head equipment manager for Team USA at the 2006<br />

World Championships in Riga, Latvia.<br />

A native of High Point, North Carolina, Settlemyre graduated from Coker College in 1993 with<br />

a degree in fitness programming and played for the school’s basketball and soccer teams.<br />

He resides in Pine Hill, New Jersey with his daughters, Peyton and Bryce.<br />

Harry Bricker Equipment Manager<br />

Harry Bricker begins his 13th consecutive season with the <strong>Flyers</strong> and his 16th overall,<br />

having served the same position from 1991-95. He began his career with the AHL’s Hershey<br />

Bears, where he was assistant equipment manager from 1989 through 1991. In 1996, Bricker<br />

became the head equipment manager of the AHL’s Kentucky Thoroughblades, a position<br />

that he held for three seasons. During the 1999-2000 season, Bricker was the assistant<br />

equipment manager for the Stanley Cup Champion New Jersey Devils.<br />

Harry is single and resides in Voorhees, New Jersey with his daughter Hayley.<br />

ANTHONY ORATORIO Equipment Manager<br />

Anthony “Rock” Oratorio is in his 28th season of service with the <strong>Flyers</strong> training staff and<br />

his 16th full-time.<br />

Prior to joining the <strong>Flyers</strong> on a full-time basis, Rock served in a variety of capacities for<br />

the <strong>Flyers</strong> training staff. He began his career in hockey as a stickboy with the <strong>Philadelphia</strong><br />

Firebirds of the North American Hockey League. Rock served as an assistant equipment<br />

manager for the 1996 World Cup in <strong>Philadelphia</strong>, the 1997 NHL All-Star Game in San Jose<br />

and the 2000 NHL All-Star Game in Toronto.<br />

He is single and resides in South <strong>Philadelphia</strong>.<br />
