Donation and Appearance Requests<br />

The <strong>Philadelphia</strong> <strong>Flyers</strong> are committed to positively influencing and supporting the community beyond the<br />

game of hockey. In keeping with <strong>Flyers</strong> tradition, we have a responsibility to give back to the community<br />

that has supported us for so many years With that in mind, we are happy to help you or your charity reach<br />

your goals as often as possible. If you have a fundraiser and are seeking an item to auction, raffle off, or to<br />

be used as a door prize, please write to us. We will do our best to accommodate your request in a timely<br />

manner. Please understand that due to the large volume of requests received, all requests must be made<br />

4-6 weeks in advance of the fundraiser date. Please submit requests on organization or event letterhead to:<br />

Please be sure to include the following information with your request, failure to include the required items<br />

may result in denial. The Donation Policy can also be found online under the Community tab / Community<br />

Relations. All requests must include:<br />

Description/mission of the organization<br />

Date, time, and location of the event<br />

Event purpose/ beneficiary<br />

How the item will be used (raffle, door prize, auction, ect.)<br />

Contact name, telephone number, and complete street address<br />

Our players and all of the members of the <strong>Flyers</strong> organization are committed to assisting the community in<br />

whatever ways possible. While the organization and players work to bring home the Stanley Cup, they also<br />

recognize their roles as public figures. The <strong>Flyers</strong> commitment to community involvement inspires players,<br />

alumni, and other members of the <strong>Flyers</strong>’ organization to try and accommodate as many public appearances<br />

as possible. Please be aware that some appearances may require a fee.<br />

All appearance requests for players, Ambassador of Hockey Bob Kelly, or <strong>Flyers</strong> Alumni, should be made<br />

in writing and addressed to:<br />

Our Area of Focus: The <strong>Flyers</strong> organization places priority on supporting communities where our fans<br />

and employees live and work. We support many organizations and charities, including groups assisting<br />

disadvantaged youths, educational development, and youth hockey programs. Preference is given to<br />

organizations meeting the above criteria. The <strong>Philadelphia</strong> <strong>Flyers</strong> are unable to accommodate out-of-area<br />

requests, monetary donations, ticket donations, or charitable sponsorships.<br />
