Flyers Community Relations & Youth and Amateur Hockey
Community Relations
The Philadelphia Flyers are dedicated to improving the Greater Philadelphia Region, which has supported
us so well over the years, through our leadership of and assistance with various community events and
programs. The Community Relations and Fan Development Departments focus their efforts on programs
that assist in the development and positive growth of children, using the sport of hockey as the means to
touch the lives of others.
Specific community activities include hospital visits, youth hockey clinics, holiday volunteering, educational
assemblies and seminars, and donations of autographed and promotional items to charitable organizations.
With support from the entire Flyers organization, we strive to make our community a better place to live.
Community Teammates
The Flyers Community Teammates program was
developed to recognize an individual or group for
their positive contributions to the local community.
The Philadelphia Flyers are accepting nominations
for this exciting program. Anyone can nominate a
neighbor, friend or relative who makes a difference
in the lives of others. The program awards two
tickets to a Flyers home game, a personalized
Flyers jersey, and recognition on the Arenavision
scoreboard during the game.
Nominations must include the person’s name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, name of
hometown newspaper, and why the individual should be chosen by the Flyers as a Community Teammate.
Entries can be submitted via e-mail to flyerscommunity@comcast-spectacor.com, or in writing to:
